چکیده
Abstract Recently, an alternative measure of uncertainty called cumulative residual extropy (CREX) was proposed by Jahanshahi et al. (2019). In this paper, we consider measures minimum ranked set sampling procedure with unequal samples (MinRSSU) in terms CREX and its dynamic version compare the information content based on MinRSSU simple random (SRS) designs. Also, using simulation, study new estimators for SRS designs bias mean square error. Finally, provide a discrimination disparity between distribution parental data SRS.

Weibull-Bayesian Estimation Based on Maximum Ranked Set Sampling with Unequal Samples
A modification of ranked set sampling (RSS) called maximum ranked set sampling with unequal sample (MRSSU) is considered for the Bayesian estimation of scale parameter α of the Weibull distribution. Under this method, we use Linex loss function, conjugate and Jeffreys prior distributions to derive the Bayesian estimate of α. In order to measure the efficiency of the obtained Bayesian estimates ...
متن کاملEstimation of Variance of Normal Distribution using Ranked Set Sampling
Introduction In some biological, environmental or ecological studies, there are situations in which obtaining exact measurements of sample units are much harder than ranking them in a set of small size without referring to their precise values. In these situations, ranked set sampling (RSS), proposed by McIntyre (1952), can be regarded as an alternative to the usual simple random sampling ...
متن کاملParametric Ranked Set Sampling*
Ranked set sampling was introduced by McIntyre (1952, Australian Journal of Agricultural Research, 3, 385-390) as a cost-effective method of selecting data if observations are much more cheaply ranked than measured. He proposed its use for estimating the population mean when the distribution of the data was unknown. In this paper, we examine the advantage, if any, that this method of sampling h...
متن کاملStratified Median Ranked Set Sampling: Optimum and Proportional Allocations
In this paper, for the Stratified Median Ranked Set Sampling (SMRSS), proposed by Ibrahim et al. (2010), we examine the proportional and optimum sample allocations that are two well-known methods for sample allocation in stratified sampling. We show that the variances of the mean estimators of a symmetric population in SMRSS using optimum and proportional allocations to strata are smaller than ...
متن کاملRanked Set Sampling
This paper is intended to provide the reader with an introduction to ranked set sampling, a statistical technique for data collection that generally leads to more efficient estimators than competitors based on simple random samples. Methods for obtaining ranked set samples are described and the structural differences between ranked set samples and simple random samples are discussed. Properties...
